Company-Level Reports: Reports for You and Your Team

Shape Company Reports provide a high-level overview of performance for all the data in your Shape account. These reports are useful for sharing PPC performance internally across your organization with Shape users and non-Shape users alike.

We have three reports available on the Company-Level:

Shape company-level reports page

Live Company Dashboard
The Live Company Dashboard was designed to be a high-level PPC agency dashboard. The report displays current PPC performance metrics for all Clients and Budgets in Shape for a company. The report utilizes the current budget cycle. Multiple graphs and tables are included to highlight trends.

Company Performance Report
This agency-level PPC report also displays PPC performance metrics for all Clients in Shape. Viewers may select a current or past date range to better understand historical performance and/or identify performance anomalies.

Historical Budget Report
This report is designed for Shape customers to track historical ppc spend, including over and underspend amounts, across Budget cycles. Report users can view how closely budget targets were hit or missed for up to one year.

Who You Should (and should not) Share Company-Level Shape Reports With
These reports display data for all of the clients your company is tracking in Shape. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you only share this report with team members within your organization. We do not recommend sharing this with clients as it could result in them gaining access to your full client list.

How to Launch Your Own Company-Level Reports
Please see the section "Launching Company-Level Reports" for directions on how to create company-level reports.

Client-Level Reports: Reports for You and Your Clients

Shape Client Reports provide an overview of performance metrics for a specific client and their budgets. These reports are useful for sharing PPC performance data with people outside of your organization.

We have two reports available on the Client-Level:

Shape client-level reports page

Live Client Dashboard

Client Performance Report
The PPC Client Performance Report highlights performance metrics for a specific Client in Shape. Viewers can select a current or past date range in order to better understand historical performance or identify performance anomalies at the Client level.

Who You Should (and should not) Share Client-Level Shape Reports With
These reports display data for a specific Client in Shape. We encourage you to generate and share Client-level reports with each of your clients individually. This allows your clients to monitor their top-level PPC performance on an ongoing basis without needing to request reports every month or budget cycle.

How to Launch Your Own Client-Level Reports
Please see the section "Launching Client-Level Reports" for directions on how to create Client-level reports.

Budget-Level Reports: Reports for You and Your Clients

These reports are useful for highlighting how campaigns are progressing toward their Budget targets in real time without requiring you to grant your client access to the Shape platform.

There are two reports available on the Budget-Level:

Data is refreshed daily meaning clients can monitor how Budgets are trending in near-real time.

How Shape's In-Platform Reports Different than ADI Reports

In-platform reports are free, prebuilt reports accessible via the Shape dashboard and at reports.shape.io. You do not need to launch a Shape ADI to generate in-platform reports.

However, in-platform reports do have some limitations when compared to reports generated using our ADI.

Most importantly, the in-platform reports are not editable. They are designed to convey certain metrics and insights at each level (Company, Client, or Budget) and cannot be updated to provide different information than what is currently available.

Have an idea for a new prebuilt report template? Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] with your ideas and we’ll see what we can do!

If you want to have complete control over what data appears in your PPC reports and dashboards, checkout the Shape ADI.
