As we are handling sensitive, financial information, it is Shape Integrated Software’s utmost priority that data is secure. Precautions we take with client’s data includes, but is not limited to the following:
First and most important, data held on Shape Integrated Software servers is intentionally limited to strictly what is required for functionality. Shape Integrated Software leverages, to the extent possible, the API’s of it’s support platforms. Google, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Twitter Ads have systems in place which help us tremendously to ensure best practices. Using Google's, Bing's, Facebook's, and LinkedIn's OAuth authentications, we do not store or have access to any client logins to these systems. Additionally, it allows the user to revoke Shape Integrated Software permissions should they feel their data is in danger.
Shape Integrated Software, in order to gain access to the data from the major platforms, passed an approval process which includes working directly with employees at Google, Bing, Facebook, and LinkedIn to ensure data security best practices are followed and vetted.
All Shape Integrated Software account passwords are heavily protected with encryption. With a password of 8 characters or longer, a modern computer would take many years, given the encrypted password, to reverse it.

Shape Integrated Software ("us", "we", or "our") operates the https://shape.io website (the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
Information Collection And Use

Third-Party Tracking and Advertising
In addition to Google, Shapes utilizes third-party advertising and analytics services for the following vendors: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, HotJar, and Quora.
- Target user online behavior for advertising purposes such as retargeting
- Target users for the purpose of interest-based advertising
- Provide analytics measurement services
- Track on-site activity (including device data) while user is on the Shape site
Shape also utilizes Facebook and LinkedIn to serve “Lead Ads” and “Lead Gen Form” ads (respectively) to users.
By filling out a Lead Ad form you are enabling Shape to contact you for sales and marketing purposes.

Do Not Track Disclosure
We support Do Not Track ("DNT"). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.
You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

Compliance With GDPR and the Client Data You Provide
Shape Integrated Software does not own, control or direct the use of any of the Client Data stored or processed by a Client or User via the Service. Only the Client or Users are entitled to access, retrieve and direct the use of such Client Data. Shape is largely unaware of what Client Data is actually being stored or made available by a Client or User to the Service and does not directly access such Client Data except as authorized by the Client, or as necessary to provide Services to the Client and its Users.
The Client or the User is the data controller under the Regulation for any Client Data containing Personal Data, meaning that such party controls the manner such Personal Data is collected and used as well as the determination of the purposes and means of the processing of such Personal Data.
Shape is not responsible for the content of the Personal Data contained in the Client Data or other information stored on its servers (or its subcontractors’ servers) at the discretion of the Client or User nor is Shape responsible for the manner in which the Client or User collects, handles disclosure, distributes or otherwise processes such information.
We only retain the Personal Data collected for as long as the User’s account is active or otherwise for a limited period of time as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which we have initially collected it, unless otherwise required by law.
We will retain and use information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements as follows:
- the contents of closed accounts are deleted within 1 year of the date of closure
- backups are kept for 2 years
- billing information is retained for a period of 10 years
Access, Correction, Deletion
We respect your privacy rights and provide you with reasonable access to the Personal Data that you may have provided through your use of the Services. If you wish to access or amend any other Personal Data we hold about you, or to request that we delete or transfer any information about you that we have obtained, you may contact us as set forth in the “Contact Us” section. At your request, we will have any reference to you deleted or blocked in our database.
You may update, correct, or delete your Account information and preferences at any time by accessing your settings page on the Service. Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a children under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
